Divorce Mediation

Divorce mediation is billed on an hourly basis at a rate of $230 per hour. Typically, sessions last approximately 90 minutes, and most divorces can be resolved with 3-6 sessions, though depending on how cooperative the parties are or how complicated the issues involved, some divorces may require additional sessions.

Fenza Legal Services offers a free 30-minute consultation to explain the mediation process and answer any questions that the parties have. The first mediation session can then proceed immediately or be scheduled for a later date.

Payment for mediation is made at the end of each session, and can be paid by a single party or shared between parties. Parties pay only for the current session, and can cancel at any time. There is never an obligation to continue with mediation if the parties feel that it is not in their best interest.
